About 2 hours if you are flying into National. A teeny bit more if you are going to Dulles.
5 :
About 2 hours (or under) if its just a strait flight there.
6 :
The average travel time from Atlanta, Georgia to Washington, DC is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Hi there FatBoi. The average flight will run around 1 Hr & 40 Mins to 1 Hr & 50 Mins. Except for an ATA late evening flight (which's 1 Hr & 37 Mins), your best bet is probably going to be a Delta non-stop, which are also among the cheapest. Look for Delta Flights 422, 426, 428, 432, 6500, 6510 etc. The Delta flights are listed at 1 Hr & 39 Mins. Good luck!

I would think about 3-4 hours.

Usually, it takes 7-8 hours. If you add five hours to the times it shows on the plane's schedule, you should have the correct flying time.
4 :
London/Heathrow to Washington/Dulles is currently scheduled at 8 hours and 8 minutes nonstop on United Airlines.

Austrian Airlines, have some specials. try: www.farecompare.com or connect through: CDG/Paris or better LHR/London! to-day for December, in the following order: Euros 448.00 all-in with UNITED SN Brussels KLM AAirlines Lufthansa Delta
5 :
It depends very much on when you need to travel. Summer is the most expensive time, due to high demand. Winter is cheapest due to low demand. Here's an 11 month snapshot of the cheapest published airfares on VIE-WAS currently: http://www.farecompare.com/search/year.html?departure=VIE&destination=WAS&p=1 ... you can also sign up there for sale fare alerts to your email. Additionally, check out http://reisen.kelkoo.de/c-172201-fluge.html Kelkoo's flight shopper which compares many sources in one go. http://www.bookingbuddy.com is similar. http://www.amta.com/amta/indexnew.aspx is a consolidator that might have something cheaper.

Take Lufthansa from Ivanka to Franz Joseph Strauss with 4.5 hours layover in Munich, then United to Dulles Int'l for US$876. Look it up at http://arklandtravel.tripod.com/ hope you find what you're looking for.

When they get old they usaully just want to be home i wouldnt if i was you that will just stress him out maybe if you have a family member they could take care of your dog well i hope everything works out for you!!!!
2 :
If there are no health concerns I don't see why not. Are you saying that the other option is putting the dog down? I wouldn't, being blind doesn't change a dog's life that much, it isn't a concern when flying either. Good luck.

If he is a mini doxi and can ride in the cabin under the seat in front of you, I would do it. You might need a pee pad in the carrier. If he must go in the pressure treated cargo area here are the things to consider: Will there be a chance of time stuck on the ground? It gets too cold and too hot in the hold because the plane is turned off. Will they allow you to load him at the last minute? The fact that he's done this before is excellent news. I don't think Pet Air does transatlantic flights, however, many charter planes will fly people's pets in the cabin! Check with small airports in your area for people who own their own planes and go to France.
