My girlfriend and I want to fly to Europe CHEAP?
What is the cheapest way to get to Europe? We need a vacation. I have had good luck with Travel Zoo in the past, but i can seem to find flight from Washington DC to any city in Europe for less than $600. What is the cheapest way to fly to Europe. We don't even care what city we go to, Rome, Paris Brussels, Prague.... WHERE EVER, we just need a break. Is there any way to get to Europe for less than $500???

It's been years since I saw flights between Europe and the US for less than $500 (and even then, it was only an occasional special deal between major cities). $600 is more reasonable from DC, and I honestly don't think you'll find anything for less. Try a comparison site like Skyscanner or Momondo. Skyscanner lets you search from DC to anywhere in the world, for a month at a time. Elizabeth is right. $600 IS cheap. The prices are down from the peak travel period in the summer and at Christmas, you'd be lucky to find anything under $1000. When I flew to/from Dulles in August the price was around $800 round trip from Amsterdam. My daughter was here in Italy for the first few weeks in September. She flew with Air France via Paris to get to Bologna because it was the best deal from Dulles when she was flying. The one budget airline that operates flights out of Dulles to Europe is Aer Lingus who flies to Dublin. Hi, I have a flight from Europe to NY with Delta Air line, one and half hour later I have another flight with same Air line to Washington DC. now I just want to know that, is there any cheking passport in JFK or not? beaus I'm worry to miss my flight to DC! thanks

Yes, your passport will be checked at New York as its your first point of arrival in the U.S. There's no way around this. And generally, you sould allow a minimum of 2 hours for connecting from international to domestic flights - even on the same airline. All sorts of things can delay you - immigration, customs, baggage, etc., etc.

you generally have to collect your bags, go through passport control/customs, and recheck your bag... standard international arrivals procedure. you may have to change terminals, too. 1.5 hours should be enough time, but it does not allow a lot of time to spare. But your airline should be understanding on this, too - if you don't make it, they'll have to put you on the next flight.

Washington and Washington DC..Air ports and flights?
There's like two Washington's on the map. There's a Washington then there's like a Washington DC. Is the white house in DC and is WA DC an actual state? Please explain in simple language lol I'm not that smart..And lets say my mom and I live in NY. But we went to the Albany airport..Would we able to like book a flight all the way to WA (Not wa dc but just wa) or would we like need to make several stops at different states and travel on diff planes from diff air ports?

"DC" stands for District of Columbia; it not technically a state, but has all the 'features of a state ...government, police, driver licensing etc. It is only a few hundred miles from Albany. There is non-stop air service from Albany to Washington DC. Washington state is on upper west coast of our country North of California and Oregon, It's about 3,000 miles from Albany. Depending upon which airline you choose, you will have at least one stop from Albany to Seattle (Washington state's capitol) and will have to change to another plane wherever the stop is.. You would not change airports. The most likely cities where a stop would be (depending on the airline chosen) would be Newark, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL or Detroit MI. RJ
