JFK Airport, Transit Flight?
Hi, I have a flight from Europe to NY with Delta Air line, one and half hour later I have another flight with same Air line to Washington DC. now I just want to know that, is there any cheking passport in JFK or not? beaus I'm worry to miss my flight to DC! thanks

Yes, your passport will be checked at New York as its your first point of arrival in the U.S. There's no way around this. And generally, you sould allow a minimum of 2 hours for connecting from international to domestic flights - even on the same airline. All sorts of things can delay you - immigration, customs, baggage, etc., etc.

you generally have to collect your bags, go through passport control/customs, and recheck your bag... standard international arrivals procedure. you may have to change terminals, too. 1.5 hours should be enough time, but it does not allow a lot of time to spare. But your airline should be understanding on this, too - if you don't make it, they'll have to put you on the next flight.
