Where can I fly direct to Chicago from the UK?
Which airports / airlines? I'm also interested in direct flights to Washington DC... thanks!

British Airways flys direct to both Chicago & Washington DC from London Heathrow. Along with many others, just do a search on expedia.

You can fly from London-Heathrow to Chicago on American Airlines, United Airlines, British Airways, and seasonally Virgin Atlantic. If you didn't know what seasonally means it means in the high season. From Manchester to Chicago you can fly on American Airlines. To Wasington DC you can only fly to London-Heathrow on British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Yes you can. As with most things, you can find the airlines etc. on any travel site, such as www.Expedia.co.uk.

Virgin Atlantic offers nonstop from gatwick to ohare, flying British Airways requires a layover in houston

outside London, just Glasgow International and Manchester have direct flights to Chicago. They are operated by American Airlines. http://www.flyglasgow.net
