I'm moving from Washington, DC to Los Angeles, CA - where can I get cheap air fare tickets?
I'll be moving sometime during the beginning of July (date is flexible,) can anyone give me links for the absolute cheapest plane tickets for a one way flight?

I recommend this airline: http://www.virginamerica.com/va/home.do They don't charge fee for luggage, the staff is really cool with u aboard the plane, delicious food and confortable seats...You can find one way around $170 right away but prices tend to go down suddenly; so the key thing with this airline is keep tracking prices daily and catch! the deal when prices down....

I have made this trip many times and one thing I can tell you is that you will find cheaper flights flying out of Dulles or BWI than going through National airport. Another thing to do is to search on Kayak engine. It will return all flights from Dulles or BWI and give you a price comparison. http://www.socalthemeparks.com/cheap-flights.html This method is good because you can check over 120 airlines with a single click.

Try Air Tran airlines @ http://airtran.com, or try spirit airlines @ http://www.spiritair.com. I have flown on both airlines from the East to West coast and I find both airlines fares to be the cheapest out of any other!

Fly Jet Blue, you can probably do one way for around $200-$250? Fares are so expensive now. If not Jet Blue, then try Sidestep.com for cheap tickets. Good luck on your trip!! I'm a native Washingtonian and moved to LA seven years ago.... LA is a great place to live, but i miss DC!!
