What do I need to do for a flight connection

What do I need to do for a flight connection?
So I leave on Saturday for Washington DC, I'm leaving from Seattle @8:45am I arrive at Philadelphia @4:48pm for a connection then I leave Philadelphia at 5:45pm and get to DC around 7:07pm I have never done a flight connection before, this is my first time going to the east coast and I was wondering what I need to do for a connection. I'm on US Airways just in case you need it. Thanks!

You should have plenty of time to make the connection. Just look for a information board when you get off the plane. Your flight to DC should be listed and it will tell you what gate you need to go to. Your luggage will be taken care of. Be sure to take all your carryons with you.

When you check in at the airport in Seattle, the agent will give you all of the boarding passes you will need. When you arrive in Philadelphia, you only need to go to the gate for your next flight with your boarding pass. Your luggage will automatically be transferred to your next flight. You should have enough time in Philadelphia to make your connecting flight. If you still are not sure, ask the agent when you check in at the airport in Seattle.
