Cheapest way to get from Washington DC to upstate Michigan?
I'm trying to get from DC to upstate Michigan but I'm doing this on a poor college kid budget. Flights don't seem to be going much cheaper than $800 and driving would be ballpark $240... but I don't think I could do 14 hours on the road by myself without falling asleep. Does anyone know how I could get from point A to point B for $300 or cheaper?

what? it is not called Upstate Michigan it's called Up_north or Northern Michigan then there is the U.P._known as the Upper Peninsula. try a bus. where I michigan do you want to go to. I am a Michigander
