Is a 1 hour 45 minute layover enough for a Delta flight from DCA-JFK-MAN

Is a 1 hour 45 minute layover enough for a Delta flight from DCA-JFK-MAN?
In a few weeks, I'll be flying via Delta from Washington Ronald Regan Airport to Manchester (UK) Airport with an hour and 45 minute layover at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. My flights arrive and depart in the same terminal. Will that be enough time to make my second flight, or should I try to get an earlier flight out of DC?

1 hour 45 minutes is plenty of time assuming the weather is okay. New York City air traffic control can be hectic and delays in and out of JFK/LGA/EWR can play havoc with your plans, but sunny days or even cloudy days with little to no chance of rain usually aren't bad. Unfortunately because you are on an international ticket you cannot take advantage of the Same Day Confirmed program where you pay $50 to go earlier out of DCA. In order to go earlier you're looking at a change fee of at least $150 plus a fare difference if any. Long story short, hope for good weather and don't make changes just because of nerves or whatever.

Should be fine. From my experience, if the airline you're connecting to know you've checked in and are in the airport but stuck on another plane, they'll wait as much as they can for you. I recently had a connection in Atlanta on the way back to London and it was 40mins which would have been enough time if the plane hadn't stopped longer than it needed to but it did. The airline (Delta) waited for me a bit though cos they knew I was in the airport, just trying to get to the right gate! 1hr 45mins sounds like plenty of time though!
